| Zombie movie with a unique twist. Who has seen it? It was supposed to be funny. Not many laughs but some disturbing sexual inuendo and a fresh idea on post Z war America. |
Yes, must be a new release because this evening was the first time I've seen it out. It's set in a 50's like time period. I say 50's like because it has a sort of modern feel to the cinematography but it's definitely the directors version of squeaky clean America in the mid 1950's. |

I watched it last nite. I thuroughly enjoyed it. The premise is that there was a zombie war, but the living ended up winning, and now use the zombies as servants/slaves. A young boy in 1950's America names his pet zombie Fido. I enjoyed the mandatory school marksmanship training, and the part where the dad gives his son a handgun as a present before going off to school and says "I know that you can't legally own this until you are 12, but this will just be between us." Not a lot of action but definately a good family movie. |
Not winning exactly. If you recall, there is a "wild zone" where bad citizens are sent. The safe areas are fenced in and protected from the wild zone. Within the fences life goes on pretty much as normal except for all the "tamed" zombies. |
