Fast Food Nation I read a write-up about the book and thought the movie would be pretty awesome... I was so wrong. This movie was so flippin' boring. There were a few laughs here and there, and some familiar faces... but it just wasn't enough to carry this piece of garbage. The delivery was such that if any of the things happening in the movie were based on fact, the potential for education was lost by building up the fictional characters. I would almost have rather seen a Michael Moore-style docu-drama on the subject matter. I understand the points they were trying to get across, and I'm sure there's more than a little truth behind the main idea (contaminated meat)... maybe even enough to turn me off fast food a little more than I already am... but overall the movie blew. |
Hey,,, some people just figure if it's available to the public it must be safe and healthy. Like cigarettes. Once upon a time it was unthought of that they could cause any sort of health problems. |
