I found a Movie firearm database. It is still new and somtimes they need help identifing firearms used in movies. www.imfdb.org They also have a small forum and they need some decent pictures of the black rifle.

I have come across this in the past. Depending on the movie, it is either really good or really bad. Some movies like Scarface and Heat will have details about the weapon, when it was used in the movie, who used it, etc. Other movies just mention the weapons and don't provide any more nformation. The site has potential but there are too few movies in the database and some of the entries could use more info. I hope that they keep adding to it though so it will become more useful. |
