Coming out in May. Looks like the action has moved to the United States and concerns the re-occupation of Rage infected zones. May is going to be a big month for movies with Spidey 3 & Shrek III coming out, but I will fit this one in too. |

best I can find for a trailer www.worstpreviews.com/trailer.php?id=535&item=1 |
+2 I mean the first half the movie rocks right up to the point where the soldiers pick them up. |
the guy pushing the car was wearing ACUs so maybe it is set in the US. |
It takes place in the exact same place as the first one. www.imdb.com/title/tt0463854/ |
I believe all of the British soldiers in Children of Men were wearing ACU too though. It's also used in Battlestar Galactica. ACU is the new in thing. |

I disagree with "it going to shit after they get picked up by army guys" I think that would be a very legitimate thing in SHTF and there would be instances when women in your group would be in danger from horny lonely guys. It gave it a different spin and showed that there will be some well prepared concentrated groups who will hold certain powers over others. Every part of 28 days later rocked ass and the only thing I didnt like was leaving it so open at the end. Otherwise one of my favorite movies |

Mini 28 Weeks Later Trailer I thought the original was great except for the Army guys wanting to rape the teen literally only a few weeks after the epidemic had begun. |
Looks like 28 Days later just redone. Infection is contained in one part of the world, everything looks happy again, then bam, the SHTF again.
|
You say it like it's a bad thing! 28 days later v 2.0 isn't the worst thing ever. Sometimes when film makers stray too far from the formula, things get f***ed up. See Land of the Dead for reference. |
Looked more like shoot everyone from the trailer. |
***Spoiler???*** Heard there is a Typhiod Mary survior that is infected but doesn't "Rage." |
|
I went to the website. Why do you guys think they are doing Sterilization? Why would you have to sterilize anyone? OR are they talking about simply cleaning the blood and waste from the city areas? Just pure statistics would say that someone could be infected I guess and simply carry the virus without it taking effect. I remember reading that even if there was a super virus like Ebola released throughout the world that a few thousand out of the billions on the planet wouldn't be effected. |
Although I agree with you I must point out that 28 days later was NOT a zombie film. The infected in 28 days later had suoer rabies. They were alive but infected. They could be killed the same way that you kill a normal humanbeing. Zombies are reanimated dead and can only be stopped by destroying the brain. |
Which is why "28 Days Later" is such a good film because with all the little viruses out there popping up like H5N1, HIV, SARS, and so forth you could seriously see a day when people had a highly infectious disease that was like a super rabies. Every morning I half expect to look outside my kitchen window while drinking my morning cup of Joe and watch as a fat man in boxer shorts is chased down the street as my neighbors house burns (ala Dawn of the Dead remake). |
The real question is, would that be a good thing, or a bad thing? |
Probably not. At some point there are just going to be too many damn people on the planet and the earth is going to have to find a way to thin us out a little bit. |
It's hillarious cuz it's true!
Yeah i guess i need to read.
