Because I thought the title was silly, I have never had an interest in watching Buffy, The Vampire Slayer. Over the past year or so, after seeing the movie Serenity and the entire series of Firefly, I've become a big fan of Joss Whedon and can watch the above mentioned shows over and over. Is the writing in Buffy as good? |

I will say this then probably get laughed at but its ok, I like the Buffy series. But my wife bought them I swear. The 1st season was a little corny but still good the later seasons did very well, and I like Joss Whedon's shows but "Angel" never really appealed to me. Also if you liked Serenity then you should know that Nathan Fillion was in Buffy during the last season I think, either last or second to last. |
All the female regulars on B:TVS were fairly hot. Charisma Carpenter (rich-bitch cheerleader Cordy), Amber Benson (hippychick lez witch Tara), Emma Caufield (ex demon Anya). Not to mention Juliet Landau (insane vamp Drusilla)...love them nutty Goth vampchicks  . Hell, even Buffy's mom had that MILF thing going. |
Don't forget Bianca Lawson as slayer Kendra.

Or Mercedes McNab as the dizzy blonde Cordette & later dizzy vamp Harmony. Probably the only person who became nicer after becoming a vamp.Julie Benz as Darla was pretty hot also, though she got more screentime on Angel. Speaking of Angel, Amy Acker as Winifred 'Fred' Burkle had that sexy librarian/nerd-chick look. |
