Out on DVD. Good movie once you're down with the concept, which is high school noir. It's Dashiell Hammet dialog with eighten year olds in high school, which is both pretty funny and a good mystery at the same time. It's worth watching a couple times just to get the hang of the dialog.

Reminded me of a friend's little brother.  He sold dope wholesale (like by the pound) and then pimped girls.  All while high school age. And he was a middle class, Japanese kid.

Good movie, but those kids took HS wayyyy too seriously. It was funny when we meet the Pin, and acts like a big time gangster, but then in the kitchen his mother pours him some milk and treats him like a baby. I liked the dialogue style.

One of the best films I've seen lately.

I thought it was great once I got into it. I look forward to watching it again.

I liked it and would like to see it again. The dialog was cool but hard to get hold of at first. If you just go with it it starts making more sense.

Yes, they are WAY too serious about HS.

The movie moved a little slow but the dialogue and characters were awesome.

And it is the "Pin", short for drug kingpin.

Very good film, but can be hard to follow without giving it your full concentration.  I like it a lot.

Did you notice that though all these kids are in high school, there isn't a single scene set in a classroom or involving any actual school activities (other than the meeting in the VP's office)?
