It thought that was a pretty damn good flick. Those dogs ruled. With a little less human action, it would have been a near perfect movie.

Try to find a copy of the Japanese original, "Antarctica" -- based on the same true story but not all Disneyed up. Unfortunately, only two dogs really survived.
