Clint Eastwood is too old to do it but I bet he could write a few good ones. He can use the dude who plays Wolverine from Xmen to play the role. He looks sort of like him and acts pretty much the same.

Think it could work?

Seriously though. I think it could be done. Not a remake but new movies to add to the story. I guess a remake wouldnt be so bad if done right, but I would think someting new would go over better.

I don't know , those are classic westerns and sometimes there better off left alone.
They tried it with the Magnificent seven and it didn't work.
