Just watched them both.  Film noir meets 70's kung fu flick meets spaghetti western.  A campy as it got at times, there is some damn fine acting in these two movies.  If you are a Tarantino fan, I say definetly check them out, and if you like movies such as Way of the Gun, Desperado, or any other Robert Rodriguez flick, you'd probably like them also.  Madsen and Carradine both give very convincing performances.  Two arfcom thumbs up.

"That woman deserves her revenge, and we deserve to die."

Great movies, but I have to set aside an afternoon if I want to watch them.  I always have to watch them together.

Fun stuff.  I like "the making of" program on the DVD's as well, seeing how some of the actors pulled off several characters and stuff was cool.

That's about 5 hours of my life that I could have spent sleeping or wanking or something more constructive.

Great movies.  I have seen them more than I can remember.  When they are on TV I find myself watching them even though I have them on DVD.

Part II got a little slow and silly toward the end.

I didn't think they were so bad.  I found them enjoyable but stupid.

+1 to both.

Where else can you see Darryl Hannah get her eye snatched out.

I loved both films. Uma was robbed by not getting nominated for a best actress award.

I never saw the 2nd one, but the freaking cartoons in the first movie were retarded. At least the bad guys were using USGI guide rods on their 1911s in the cartoons.

I hated the first half of the movie so much I didn't bother watching the second half when it came out. The movie was cut in half to make 2 times the amount of money. Q T was just trying to ram as many "cool" movie tricks into it as possible. This was cinimatic masterbation at its finest.
