Bought the DVD about a week or so ago. Our son watches it at least once a day, which means I watch it almost as often.

Not a bad movie. Kind of got funnier the more I watched it.
David Schwimmer, as much as I can't stand him, is actually a perfect voice for the role.
Ben Stiller is Ben Stiller, even as a cartoon. Not bad but nother spectacular.
Same with Chris Rock.

The funniest things are the penguins (especially the Skipper) and the two main lemurs. They're a riot.

There's a sequel announced on IMDb. Can't imagine what that'll be about.

Worth the watch... especially if you have kids. It's got enough inside "adult" jokes to keep you on your toes.

I made my g/f go to the theater to see this, I agree with your review. The lemurs and penguins steal the show.

Exactly, the penguins were great. Laughed my ass off when they just kept beating on the ship captain. Then I heard my wife say, "I want a penguin."

The rest of the movie was pretty slow.

I hated it, hated that I wasted $13 to see it on the big screen.

$13 for less than 80 minutes.

Where did the "stereotype" of penguins being animals that are secretly plotting behind the scenes.
Did it start with those "oobie doobie doo" beer commercials?

Penguins definitely made the film for me.......... How long will it take them to make a spin off starring the "Penguin Patrol"?
