At least he was reloading all the time.
He didn't have magic guns that shoot eleventy billion rounds per mag.
That was refreshing.
Also enjoyed all the gun pron.

Opted for Wick over Fury last night.  Not disappointed.  Gun geek review:  Interesting points were Title character's use of slide lock lever as slide lock lever, and the frequency with which slide was slingshotted (proper use and reloading consistent with number of shots fired).  I noticed empty mag pouches in the club shootout scene when Wick went for his BUG, and seem to remember they were empty when he dressed, but can't recall with complete certainty.  That's a continuity issue, not a firearm issue, so meh.  Reflecting today, I think there should have been some residue on the pillow after the hot chick offed the dude who'd been tasked with babysitting her.

I'd give John Wick an A on firearms technique and selection, B on story line (a few empty backstory points, but not enough to keep me wondering about them and distract me from the story.  A- for hot villainess (but only one, hence the minus).  and an A+ for killing the dog before I had a chance to fall in love with it.  (hate pet killings)  Oh yeah....Keanu Reeves, the Irish Setter.  Didn't expect any more than what he gave us.  Perhaps he's accepted the fact he can only play "brooding, angry, tormented" and we will no longer be punished with his portrayal of every emotion as "brooding, angry, tormented"

Don't think I dropped any spoilers in here.   Sorry if I'm wrong.

Did you see Taken?  Any similarities?
Yes.  The basic ex-Assassin, man-on-a-mission format was similar.  I liked Taken better.

I loved this movie a lot more than I thought I would. The storyline of course was stupid, but I still loved how all the characters were pretty much aboveboard on everything they do professionally and all. Laughed my ass off at the cop: "You back to work John?" "No, just taking care of a couple things."
And yeah the action was really sweet. The bluray is on my Christmas list
