A woman on this weeks episode said that her gun was "registered".Do they register guns in Wyo.? Yes, and all police have a handheld device that can instantly match a bullet against a national database as well as take a picture of a fingerprint and get matches instantly. DNA matches can be done in minutes as well. Only on TV do these things happen. |

Almost stopped watching after the first ep when I learned that the .45-70 is an ancient caliber that only has one type of rifle chambered for it. I usually can overlook that sorta stuff, but it is a major plot point of the episode.
I have watched a couple of more episodes on Netflix and it is growing on me, though. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I like the show and will continue to watch, but *every* firearms related bit of dialog is a bit ... wrong. I'd bet that the writer is getting all of his info from previous TV dialog from poorly written mediocre cop shows. The last episode had a woman claiming a revolver was 'registered'. Straight out of Law & Order. m |

I loved the episode where Walt lifts a thumbprint and hands Vic a stack of fingerprint file cards a couple feet thick. "Here, Vic, see if one of these matches."
I just noticed that Peter Weller is playing the retired Sheriff, Branch's uncle. Damn, Buckaroo Banzai got OLD! |
