anyways I thought it was pretty good, non stop action. Kate is a total bad ass 
and the 3 tited hooked is hot

And I also read an interview where the director said he hoped to release an Unrated DVD with all the cut stuff restored. I guess the butchering of Taken to get a PG13 has left a bad taste in my mouth for movies that "should" be R-rated....

Parts. But from what I can tell it's not a remake of the movie, it's a remake of the short story the first one was also based on so there are parts that have to be similar, but it is a different interpretation of the story. That said, I haven't read the story either. I liked them both. Lots of Kriss porn. I don't really care for all the blood splatter to garner an R anyway (which IIRC was pushed by Verhoeven for his version) so PG-13 doesn't faze me, as that was about the only thing I saw different. All in all it was a good time. Too bad it didn't do better in sales. Hopefully it will pick up steam.Maybe the uncut version will have the deleted Kate Beckinsale/Jessica Biel waterboarding interrogation shower scene. It must exist somewhere... |
