I saw this earlier today. What a great movie! |
| I saw drawings in EPIC which is a now discontinued adult comic book that led to the idea for the movie. That movie did a lot for Brandon Lee.It finally brought him his own stardom which then led to his downfall or Lee curse if you believe in that.He was killed while filming it.Somebody left an obstruction in one of the gun props which acted like a bullet when the gun was fired, hitting him in the stomach and reaching his spine. |

No he was killed during filming of The Crow. They had to finish it out with stunt doubles with early-CGI'ed faces. Sad, he had a lot of potential. It was a good movie. Long time ago though..... |

I thought it was the pyro charge in the grocery bag that killed him ???
Quoted:
From the show I watched about his death, it was a bullet lodged in the barrel from someone shooting the gun with a load they had pulled the powder out of for pictures of the gun loaded. Then the full house blanks sent the bullet on its way. |

although not really a Bruce Lee movie they talk about gun safety on the set in "Game of Death", the sad irony. Michael Wincott made a hell of a bad guy, shame he hasn't done better in the movie roles. Definitely weird how Bruce Lee was "killed" in Game of Death by a real cartridge being shot during filming of a movie, instead of a blank one. |
| One of my all time favorites scenes was in that movie. Where he hopped up on the table and sat Indian style in the room filled with the bad guys and says something like, "I just want him." "Well, you can't have him." "You've made your decision. Now let's see you enforce it." And they empty their guns on him. He gets up and cleans freaking house. |

I thought Bruce Lee was killed by an allergic reaction to meds? |

Weird, haven't watched Along Came A Spider since it was released on DVD (not a big thriller fan in the Theatre)... but decided to watch it on Satellite tonight...
Guess who plays the bad guy, Mr Soneji (very well, I might add)? |

I love the crow. Brandon Lee did a movie (don't know if you guys have seen it) a total 90's movie called Rapid Fire, that movie is pretty good too! Check it out.

In Bruce Lee's last movie Game of Death, his character is a movie star. In one of the scenes, his character is filming a scene in a movie, and he "dies" by getting shot by a live gun, when only blank guns were supposed to be used. |

Great movie, great soundtrack album. The soundtrack is still one of my favorite driving CDs. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile Me too. I listened to that album constantly for a long time. Not to mention its the only album in existence with a decent "The Cure" song.
Edit: The second crow movie was "meh", the third one was probably one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I haven't bothered watching the fourth one with Ed Furlong. I didn't think they could cast anyone worse than the guy that did the third crow, but Ed Furlong could not have possibly done the part justice. |

It was better than the tird , but the first one is the only one worth watching. |

Brandon Lee was only in about 4 other movies. He and Dolph Lundgren was in Showdown in Little Tokyo ("just incase we get killed, I wanted to tell you, you have the biggest dick I've ever seen on a man" worst line for a straight actor evah) , the aforementioned Rapid Fire, and another one that I have never seen with the craptastic title Laser Mission, and according to Wiki a Chinese language movie called Legacy of Rage.
Apparently the Spanish Director quit and Bradley Cooper is assigned to play the role Brandon Lee made famous. Here is hoping the thing never gets remade and if it does it goes down harder than Barney Frank's boyfriend. |
were pretty messed up as the villains..
