Since my wife (Cattitude) spends a lot of her time in here, I thought this was the best place
to announce that we are expecting another baby! 
She is due in August, we just found out a few weeks ago. We had the grandparents together (one via telephone) and gave a wrapped up present containing a receiving blanket, jumper and a baby toy and on top wrote "Merry Christmas - You get only one guess!" Here is a picture of our two children-

It never dawned on me that Cat was a chick! 
I guess its kind of obvious…picture of a cat with a purple background! The screen name Cattitude! And to think I even used to read Sherlock Homes! Great looking kids and congratulations! Keep cranking them out America needs some good families. |

I do have a couple friends from large families. 6kids, 6kids, 7kids, 12 kids. No joke. And they are the best people Ihave ever met.

Several years ago (when we only had 5 kids), some friends of our took pity on us for never being able to go out. They took us to a comedy club. We had never been, but our friends had and they knew that if you sit close to the stage, the comedian usually picks on you. The guy came out and, after a few so-so jokes, began to banter with my wife. Comedian: "You married?" Wife: "Yes, this is my husband," indicating me. Comedian: "Any kids?" Wife: "5 kids." Comedian: "Wow!" looking shocked because Wife was only 31 but looked much younger. Comedian (to me): "I guess you guys are practicing Catholics." Me: "Yes and we practice as often as possible." This got a bigger laugh than anything the comedian had said up to that point, so he left us alone after that.
