I seek an interest in your prayers for my father-in-law. Without going into the gory details, he had to have emergency colo-rectal surgery in the wee hours last night and is now in the ICU with multiple wounds/drains, in great pain and discomfort. He is also a diabetic, so I am concerned about infections and healing. He is a private and modest man, so I know he is embarrassed about the personal nature of the illness and the exposure he must be enduring for his care and treatment.  But he is also a man of deep and abiding faith (an Old School Primitive Baptist Elder, and my own Pastor for that matter), so I know he would appreciate your earnest prayers on his behalf (as would I).

I'll be praying for Him as well. My own Primitive Baptist Church is comprised of around 85% elderly so I fear I will be seeing much of the same type thing as the next few years go by. IM me His name and I will have Him added to our Prayer bulletin. In fact some of the older men may know him. |
