Denny Burke was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer in July of 2006. He passed away only moments ago...  I have known his family and his son, Dennis, since youth-football.  I can't explain how caring  and warm a man Denny was- always willing to go the extra mile for anyone he could.  He has touched the hearts of many and will be severly missed...

I ask for you to pray for his family as they try to deal with the aftermath of such a horrible turn of events.  It saddens me to tell you all that another member of their family has been diagnosed with the same cancer.

I really don't know what else to say... i'm still kinda shocked as to the whole situation, and haven't really come to grips with the news.  Please keep the Burke family in your prayers over the holiday season- and if you get a chance to see your father, hug him tightly and tell him how much you appreciate him... how much you love him.  If you aren't going to see your father, then pick up the phone now and call.

i don't know what else to say...

My prayer is for that comfort that can only come from above for his family and all who loved him in this trying hour.  May they dwell not upon the sadness of his death, but the blessings of his life.

I lost an aunt to that wretched disease.  You have my sympathy and my prayers. I'll continue to lift his family up.
