Plus, Ariel Sharon was almost 78 years old when he suffered a stroke. Strokes in people of that age are also far from unusual. But, if you wish to believe those events were punishment from God, I'm sure not going to try to convince you otherwise. |

I did some reading on Tisha B'Av. It is rather intriguing that Jews experienced so many dire events on the same date throughout history. However, I don't know what, if any, significance to attach to it.
I still think it's quite a stretch to try to link Tisha B'Av with the damage done by Katrina, and Sharon's stroke. The former happened two weeks after 9th of Av, and the latter almost five months after. I also don't see a connection to the four blood moons of 2014-15. The four blood moons of 1493-94 appeared after the expulsion of Jews from Spain, which would seem to rule out their being a sign of a forthcoming event. |

The date of the expulsion of the Jews from Spain is well documented as 30 July 1492. This makes it the 26th day of Tamuz on the Hebrew calendar. It had little to do with the inquisition, which was targeted at professed Catholics (many of whom were secret Jews, so I can see where some might argue some sort of connection - as converting to Catholicism was a way to avoid expulsion, but then placed you under the jurisdiction of the inquisition). Thus, far from "culminating" it actually stepped up a notch, in an effort to identify fake converts.
If such basic, recent historical facts are misrepresented, I'm not sure how much credibility to give the rest. |

The eighth occurrence of back-to-back, blood-red moons will be in 2014–2015. So what does the period of time from 2013 to 2015 portend for Israel and the world? Excellent question. The four blood moons of 1493-94 came after the expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1492. The four blood moons of 1949-50 came after the Israeli War for Independence in 1948. Three of the four blood moons of 1967-68 came after the Six-Day War of 1967. If there is any linkage between historical events and appearance of four blood moons, the logical conclusion from the above info is that: 1. The event (if there is any) which is linked to the blood moons of 2014-15 probably already occurred in 2013. 2. There is a high probability that the event (if there is any) which is linked to the blood moons of 2014-15 will have an outcome favorable to Israel. Of course, there is the matter that throughout history there have been many appearances of four blood moons during two-year periods, in which there was no observable connection to Jews, or Israel.
