Does anyone happen to know what the service schedule of the 4wd components on a 2005 Silverado with 33k on it are? The truck sees very little off road time. Most of the time it only gets put into 4hi about once a month when roads are wet and even then for short distances.

I dont know what they recommend but after 4 yrs I would definitely change the oil in the transfer case, transmission, front and rear differentials..    If you are even remotely handy the transfer case, front/rear diffs are something you can do.. The transmission may be harder unless it doesnt have a drain plug and you have to drop the pan

The vehicle service manual is always a great place to start.

It also lets you know the correct fluid types and amounts you will need.

I'd do the diffs and T case at 30K miles.  Make sure you use the correct fluid in the transfer case, autotrac requires special fluid.  The rear differential requires synthetic but I am pretty sure it doesn't need additives.  I'd just throw synthetic in the front and rear.  They used to have a drain plug in the rear differential, but I see they eliminated that in later years.

If it has autotrac (push button not on floor) you cant use atf in the transfer case, get the fluid from a dealer. There are two plugs on it, both 18mm iirc, just drain and refill. The front diff has a drain and fill plug as well same thing there as the transfer case. The rear diff on that year wont have a drain plug so you will have remove the cover to change it.
