I was told that someone, somewhere, has an online database that tells the likelihood of a particular failure for various cars, as they age. Has anyone seen this?
For example: my 2001 Ford Escape has begun to exhibit signs of age; I just replaced the fuel pump, the radio/CD is getting funky, etc. I'm mostly concerned about problems that will strand me in the boondocks, especially about the starter going out. (I had this happen once before in my van.) |
