2001 Nissan Frontier 3.3 v6 crew cab 2WD short bed 77,000 miles will fit in garage. Fit in garage is what the wife says we have to have and easy access for the dog.
Any problems I should be aware of?
$8500

The only downside is fuel economy. I had one of these trucks and even with a stick I only got 18mpg in the best possible conditions. All in all very disappointing for an engine with as low a power output as the NA 3.3 to get worse mpg than a full sized chevy with a 300hp+ 5.4 v8

Other than that it was a great little truck, However you MUST change the timing belt as soon as you get it if it hasn't already been done.

It's really kinda underpowered for its size. Even the the supercharged version didn't have enough oomph to get out of its own way.

$8500 sounds like a lot of money for an 8 year old 2wd compact pickup.  Get it down to 6 or 7.

+1
I was thinking more like $5500. Maybe $6500 if it were 4wd.
Of course a lot of that is dependent on the area you live in.

Wife took one look and said "are you kidding"?
Now looking at a ford Ranger V6 std and a 99 F150 XLT 78,000 miles.
I would not bet on either of them. I am becoming pussy whipped in my older years. Used to buy a car without her even seeing it.
