| I have a 2003 GMC Envoy with <60K miles. Today I notice that my digital temp display in the rearview mirror was wrong. The temp today was in the 70's and it read 40's. This evening it was in the mid 60's and it read 33 degrees. Any clue as to where the sensor is and what I can do to fix this? Granted it isn't a big deal, but it is a pain in the ass. |

My last two Chevy pickups were the same way. It was usually pretty acurate in the summer but in the winter it goes crazy. On my big truck (Kenworth) if the sensor is dirty it reads 55 all the time. I clean it and it works again. I'd try cleaning the sensor on my pickup if I knew where it was. Sorry I cant help you. This is just a tag I guess. |
