What is the consensus on these? I know they're being discontinued...are they reliable or a POS? What about the multi-displacement engine? Any feedback on this truck as a whole will be appreciated. Thanks. Blake |

I would say that since it is a jeep it would be very reliable. The new lifetime powertrain warranty should take care of any issues that come up. I am a year into having a 2006 Jeep Liberty Renegade and I love the thing way more than I thought I would. I wanted a Wrangler Rubicon but the family size dictated a bigger interior. It was a few months before the 4-door wranglers were available and I had to pull the trigger on a new vehicle. The commander was just too big for my wife to drive and It seemed like too much of an attempted Hummer copy for my liking. That is only my opinion from checking them out in the showroom. I suggest taking a Commander out for a test drive and see how it feels. That is what sold me on the Liberty. |
