Any Arfcomers have the SS?

My Camry V6 just isn't doing it for me anymore and there are ZERO performance parts out there for it. I like the AWD, but have been reading about trans problems with the 4L70 trans in the AWD SS.

I think the trailblazer SS is fairly new, I have a friend who was talking these things up alot, he didn't have one but was saying how good it sounded.

395HP LS2 6.0L.............how can you go wrong?

(it's not detuned from the 400HP corvette and gto applications, thats from fan clutch parasitic loss)

My mom has the standard TrailBlazer, which is real nice.

I don't know anyone here with an SS version of the TB.

Go test drive it and get a feel for it.

I'm getting 11 to 13 mpg on Premium. It is so much fun to drive and I like it a lot but it doesn't sound as though you would like it

My mom gets about say 19 mpg in hers, my BIL has an 02(same color as yours Sharky) and he indicates he gets 20.

lately I've been getting 16-18 city with a little highway
20+ if the majority of the tank is burned on the highway

that's with a regular 02 with the I6 engine
but the guy I quoted in my edit above indicates the V8 SS version only gets 11-13

speed costs money, Maybe you could find a tuner that can work on the fly? but maybe thats only for Diesel trucks.

you're not buying fuel economy or else you'd be in a prius.................this is a badass drivetrain. don't buy it if you have any inclination towards saving the planet.
