I was looking for something to read the diagnostic trouble codes from my car and stumbled on this:

www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail.aspx?mfrcode=ACN&mfrpartnumber=CP9125

They usually run $79.99, at Advance Autoparts and other stores but their own website has it for $39.99. If anyone was thinking of getting one someday this would be a decent deal.

If you have a laptop, I HIGHLY recommend the CarCode computer OBD-2 interface.

www.obd-2.com

I bought one with a student discount and in kit form, and I love it.  Free software upgrades forever, and if you want to download the software to try it out, you can--it comes with a few "example" data files which you can play with.
