I'm not going to cheat and say I just took this. It's actually from the 2018 Scavenger Hunt, so it doesn't qualify. But it's motivation.

I've been all over the San Diego area. 87 brazillian statues, not a one of them pointing. sailors, surfers, kids, critters, but nothing poinitng.
and I have a pretty good target to list too. I wonder if there are any in LA? ETA: i found one! I'll hit it tomorrow morning |

I just got back from my ride and didn't see one of those on a bank all day, made a few detours for more posabilities, no joy in South Lake Tahoe, the whole east side of the lake and the main drag of truckee, Nothing on the main strip in Auburn. I did get not one but two flipped over semis, one happened right in front of me in S Lake Tahoe this morning.
Roads closed pizza boy, find another way around.

Sorry its so blurry, I had a smudge on my lens and couldn't see the phone well because of the sun. If you stand on one leg and squint you can see some cattle.

West Chesterfield. Route 9 right over the big green bridge from Brattleboro (putney road).
Surprised you didn't ask about the new bike. That's the Moto Guzzi Breva i bought late last year. I still have the Suzuki if anyone is interested .PS- clarification for my target, they can be YOUR kids. So long as they are fishing. Edit for better picture of the bike.  Attached File |

I thought that stretch of road looked familiar. The signs are new, weren't there when I was last through about a week and a half back. So... About the time you were taking those pics, I was taking my own. Since I didn't know they'd put those in, I turned around at the Riverside Grocery at the base of the hill. These are the sign going into Vermont, a mile or so from where you took yours.   |

I got this one, this is a place holder until i get back home tonight
EDIT: I should have checked the weather before I went out. Got to the diner, sat down, and a thunderstorm rolls in about 5 minutes later. Pretty good timing. I order their burger with sauteed morels which was a bit pricey for a diner type place but it tasted pretty good.   Next target: Former military vehicle (air, land, sea), bonus points for air or sea. |
