Wasn't thinking and was refilling my WR250R and realized I had 87 octane like I was filling my car. Realized my mistake and switched over to 91. Net result is the bike got .4 gallon of 87 in a 2 gallon tank. The manual calls for 91 or higher. I figure it is robust enough for this slight duh moment right? I topped it off with another gallon today so it really should only have a tiny bit of "87" in it.
What you guys think, no big deal, or should I drain the tank? Thanks |

Are you sure thats not just the RON or MON octane rating? All my bikes have had a printed requirement of 91, but in the US our pumps are labeled with the average of the two ratings (meaning in most cases you can run 87 by the US standard). That said a half gallon of 87 wont hurt it.
