Thank you! Cajun is correct, it's an Aston Martin V8 Vantage. They're currently a great bang for the buck IMO. Although it's not a "pure" sports car being that it splits the difference between a sports and GT car, the 6MT and overall look make up for whatever it lacks.

I'd have to say I agree with you on the 991 over the 992, although mine is a 991.1

I feel for you. You get a new toy and can't even test it out to make sure everything is in proper working order.

I’ll have a few days to wring it out but definitely won’t get the break in done.

Thanks. Originally going to go with black but decided on this, shadow grey metallic. Seems most I see are red, light grey and white.

The car looks a lot better in person than most pictures I’ve seen. Kind of like a pretty girl that for some reason doesn’t photograph well.

Interesting. I thought the car’s power was computer limited during the 500 mile break in period. Wonder if it will make any difference in that car after break in?

I don’t know if that’s true.  As a tuner myself and aware of LMR’s ability they would know if that’s the case and either mention it or know a way around it.

Probably correct, if a program can limit it the they can probably get around it.

I did some searching and found this video.  They did gain 250 rpm and 20 hp at the tires after 500 miles.  This wasn't the first C8 LMR did. They also did one of the first twin turbo setups on a C8, so it's hard to believe they wouldn't know that.  Maybe they mentioned it in their video and I missed it.  Interesting to note the LMR car did dyno before 500 miles the same as the car in this video AFTER the gains at 500 miles.

A tiny bit faster 0-60, I think a .5 quicker 1/4 mile wise, And a lot more room interior wise.
I am 6.4" I can set the front seat of the CTSV for my self and then still fit behind the driver seat comfortably.
There was about a 20k price difference depending on options but I wanted something closer and truer to the size of a early 2000's E46's
A tune added 103hp & 97 ft lbs on a completely stock car so that eliminated the power difference between to the two for me.

Both are great cars. IMO

Picked up this goofy thing for daily-driver duties a few months ago.  Corners like a scared rabbit.  It feels like I'm driving a race car to work everyday.  With bluetooth and cruise control.

The Merc looks fun.

I have the AWD E250 with the 4 cylinder turbodiesel.  45 MPG and a 900 mile range.  It's not fast but pulls hard with 360 ft-lbs of torque.
