Came across this company/design while looking at lifts for a potential future SUV.

Spaccer Lift Kits

Looks like they are stackable spring spacers. What are yalls thoughts on these?

Look fairly easy to install, if a little pricey. Whats the max lift you can generally go with before running into problems with breaking things prematurely?

I started to reply and then looked at the link.  I don't have any experience with coil over spacer lifts.

Don't use them if you actually want to, you know, go 4 wheeling. You can stack them and if you hit a good bump, the actual spring can compress enough to go ''solid'' [no space between the coils] before the suspension hits the jounce bumpers. You can do major bad things to your ride when that happens.

The ONLY way to do a lift is to spend the money and get one that was actually engineered by someone who knows what they are doing. Any corner cutting usually comes back to bite you in the ass hard.

Friends don't let friends use spacer lifts. Save your money and get a better lift.

The only spacer system I've found that is worth a damn was ACOS.

We've lifted at least a dozen f150s with that same style lift.

Never had an issue, granted they probably haven't been off road much if any.

This.

Spacer lifts are for Mall Crawlers only.

So as long as these are for a mall cruiser, I'll be good? Don't need anything serious, just looking for a little higher ride height around town and a little extra clearance on the trail to the hunting camp. Probably just two spacer per corner for a .94" total lift. Would still go with a more robust system if available, but not finding any for the small SUV.

I have used MAXX suspension and have been happy with the product and customer support.

If you are looking for a couple inches or less it is a simple way to go about it.  What is the car in question?

Curious what SUV the OP is considering to "lift"?

Most of the cars I seen listed were actually unibody style cars.  These spacers I seen in the .gif on the website are for actual struts.

The lift would be for an AWD Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, possibly a Toyota Rav4. Found out this morning that the Mitsubishi actually has a very similar platform (Mitsubishi GS) to the Jeep Compass which shares many parts with the Jeep Patriot, so there may be a chance of using those lifts. I have no idea if the suspension/driveline setup is the same though.
