I'm not independently wealthy, though.

I'm slowly working on mine, as the budget allows for a DD. Maybe one day, I'll do the full bedliner as you have, but there's a lot of things higher on the list for now.

I understand that. I do well, but I definitely work for a living. The bedliner was close to the end of the modifications on mine. Now I just need to take it to a couple shows and get someone to buy it so I can start a new project.

Picked up another 1967 manufacture M416 this weekend.

The plan is to keep it OEM, so I'll repaint, tac mark and replace the non OEM tail lights.

3.5 inch lift with Sahara wheels and 285 size tires, which come out to right at 32 inches.

When I get new tires, they'll be 16 inch wheels with 33 inch tires

I have a 10" tablet mounted in my XJ over the stereo but it covers the air conditioner vents. My daughter is just about done diving our LJ so its time to figure out something for that.
Borrowed for other sites...

Roll bar mount this may be the way we go.

Over the stereo

Wish I could do something like that on my roll bar in the YJ. But I leave it top and doorless probably 9 months outta the year, tablet would either be destroyed or stolen.

Head unit is a pioneer 4200nex. it has a removable faceplate. will mirror your iphone or android. I looked at the tablets and foldable screens all block the vents. this fits perfectly and has a removable screen for security.

F'ing A. They only make it for 03-06.

I'd love a double DIN for my '02.

Madly jealous of the texas dude with the white YJ.  Such jeeps are but a legend in Kentucky in unmolested and unrusty condition.  I like the simple interior of the YJ more and it feels like more of a classic than the TJ to me.

Still just the willys in my corral.  Removed far east air force insignia on this semi gloss forest green USMC jeep, and put most of the correct stencils on.  Still have to get rid of the stars on the rear panels and finish putting on the unit insignias in their place.  This jeep is no longer confused about its identity.

This was the first time I tested my RV tow setup, consisting of a Blue Ox Aventa 10,000 lbs. tow bar, and a SMI Duo brake system installed in the Jeep that applies the Jeep brakes when the RV brakes are applied.

Crested a 6% grade while approaching Cloudcroft, NM and dropped down the East side with no issues, even though the Rubi is on the heavy side - I really like the V10

Set up in a RV park near the Lincoln National Forest and used the Rubi to scout out some forest roads.

I had been considering a tablet.  Not sure if I should get one with it's own cell modem or just use my phone as a hot spot.  Then trying to fab up a mount so that it will fit on my radio bar overhead.  Your solution solves all that much easier.

Pics of the radio bar in my 06 LJ (I had a thread on it in the HAM forum):
