Happy Anniversary Greg Anderson!

It's been your first full year of you being "That guy".

I'm not sure Greg is actually human.  He and Jeg... those guys consistently cut lights like no other

Not much of a scummit fan . . . but really that class has only a handful of guys who aren't paranoid.  Change center sections in the dark, keep 4-link positions covered, throw a towel over the intake, etc.

I almost worked on a PS car and although I regret not trying it for a year, a part of me is glad I didn't.

Not a Ken black fan here.  Nor am I one of either of his drivers.  Can they compete- sure, except maybe this year.

Original post was referring to Greg saying a while ago Erica Enders was going to be the first female PS winner- but he didn't wan't "to be that guy" in the other lane.  Well as it turns out he was "That guy" in Chicago last year.

I think most NHRA driver are 4 feet tall.  Maybe they get smaller and smaller as the HP in the car goes up.  Not tryin' to imply anything there, just seems that way.

One thing for sure Roy Johnson certainly knows how to make the Mopars go like hell this year.  Hope Allen is paying attention to how to build a motor.

Best thing about PS is how close everything is.

I have to admit I am smitten with Pro-Modified however.

Greg interviewed me for a position on the team several years ago. It was a few days after I was on a Pass Time episode that he appeared on.
If I had a CDL, I would probably have been offered a position on the team.
I have been in the shop twice. Once to meet Jason via mutual friend, the second time to interview.
Very nice shop, and both are great guys.

I ran the Camaro, brother ran the Chevelle.

Coupla nice money pits you guys have there.  Wish I had the time and cash to have something like that to toy with.

I'm getting old. I remember when Pro Stock had some factory sheet metal.  Same with NASCAR.

I remember when NHRA actually actively enforced the rules such as maximum 10% engine setback.

Always thought Anderson came of as a prick.

YouTube Allen Johnson's Awards Banquet Speech 2012 sometime for some really heartfelt speech.

I do not object as I see this as a safety issue.  It is hard/impossible to lighten up any factory body enough.  At 200MPH (and far less), heavy kills.  I am nostalgic for small block PS engines though.  These big block engines are starting to look more and more the same.   I have lost most of my prior interest in the class.
