So my truck came with a pretty ugly bug guard on the hood. I never cared for it but left it in place due to it being installed with some kind of foam double sided tape. Last week the tape failed on a corner so I went ahead and pulled it off. Now I have a long strip of gray foam tape across the front of my hood. I have tried all I could think of to remove it. Dental floss and fishing line just break. I tried some U-Line degreaser with no luck. I can very slowly peel it off but at the rate that is going it will be 100 years before I get it all off.

Anybody else ever find a solution for this problem?

Use a heat gun or a hair dryer to heat it up and pull it back small sections at a time.
It will still feel like it is taking forever however...
