My car came with a really terrible trunk liner/carpet mat thing that sheds fuzz all over everything and if I put anything in the trunk as soon as I go around a corner it slides to the opposite side and bunches up the mat.
I've been looking for some new material that I can cut to the size I need, but I haven't had a lot of luck. Home Depot has spools of rubber backed carpet stuff but they are only 24" wide, and my trunk is 27" deep and about 60" wide. I would like to cut a single piece to fit the whole space, so 24" would leave a gap in the front or back of the trunk. Does anyone know of something that might work for this? |

I would just clean the hell out of the trunk and spray some do-it-yourself bedliner in there, the stuff that dries rubbery. Hmm. That sounded crazy at first but it just might work. Underneath the "carpet" are 3 sheets of thin wood covering up the spare tire and jack. I could take those out and spray them and trim the edges if needed to make them fit back in tight. Great idea! |

I've had pretty good luck with weather tech(i think) mat, durable and doesnt move around and it was for my exact model might give them a try? Weather tech doesn't make a custom fit trunk liner for my car. If they did i probably would already have it. Quoted:
Durabak. Comes in different colors, UV protective, with or without texturing. Definitely will look into this one some more. I like that it comes in different colors. Thanks for the ideas so far! |
