I picked up a 2.3L 4 banger from a late 80's mustang. It is not a roller head motor. I have heard there are ways to convert it to a roller head.

Does anybody have any info on how to convert it to a roller head? Or would it just be easier to pick up a head that is already set-up as a roller?

I don't think you can make a non roller head a roller head. But what you can do is get a 2.3 head off a ford truck. They are roller heads

I believe the early 90's Rangers came with a roller head on the 2.3's. I might have to just look for a Ranger head and call it a day. I know I am not gonna be running the piss out of the motor, so I may not eve need to do it.
