+1

If you have more than ten years to go until retirement, who cares what the market is doing today?  And if you have less, you should already have a good chunk of your investments out of stocks.

Have to pay attention to the market, a lot of these "financial advisers" are morons or out to sell something. I'm all cash as of several months ago...I suggest you do the same and wait for a bottom.

But then again, some of us can afford to be team members.  Let the outcome guide you.

Those who wait for the bottom, or top, miss it.

Amen.  I am buying like a mad man right now.  I may lose some money over the next year or two (or even three, but I doubt it), but I will be WELL positioned for the recovery having bought cheap.  My only regret is not moving some money around to get it out of funds I am no longer investing in (holding), but they are historically good funds, so I think they will recover as well.
