Interesting self fulling and circular demand being created. As each tranche unlocks, the nasdaq100 float number is recalculated, not implemented though. Looks like an official rebalance on the new float in mid December. Requiring all nasdaq100 related products to greatly increase their holdings. |

I closed all but one yesterday because they were close to expiring and highly profitable, lucky timing on my part! Entry to the nasdaq didn't do much for the stock price, so why would this smaller demand spike do anything? |

Good article. Forced demand engineered to absorb the supply as it becomes available. Passive forced to buy. |

Was it worth the hassle and are you still signed up to loan them? I never did it because the rates dropped back to sub-1% after a week or two. |

It did cost me my time but I was sitting on a Teams meeting 12 people deep when I was clicking enroll so, easy. Granted I'd rather the stock go to $220 as i'll be much more profitable but if people are shorting and I can profit, sure. |
