Define small scale.
Define your time commitment (in terms of time available to research and trade, and what kind of frequency you are looking at). What are your goals? Combine all three. You may be better served with a growth style investment that pays a health 5+% dividend. |

Why do you want to trade currency? As posted above, what are your goals? What is your investing time frame and risk tolerance?
Overall, currency trading is better used as a hedge against inflation of your primary currency. It's hard to make consistent profits trading currency most of the time. |
