Thank god he came after we left.  He probably would have "Accidentally" tripped one day....

It was funny when 4 women senators came.  No one wanted that mission, all the LT's were trying to get out of it like no other!  My team got stuck on the mission but the ladies were very nice and laid back and just soaked it all up.
But my, did the Iraqi women council get pissed when the senators tried to tell them what to do with their country.  Half the room got up and left the meeting!

This past year I spent time visiting the guys at Walter Reed - to a man (and 1 gal) they wanted to get new legs and get back to the sandbox to be with their men. They weren't "woohoo! Purple Heart! cool now I can proceed with my politicial ambitions" ,

Which really tells you alot about Lt Kerry; 3 superficial wounds, none of which required a hospital stay, and he's home free. Meanwhile real heroes suffered serious wounds but wanted to stay put and be with their men to finish their tour.

The unfortunate thing about Senators though is their power - it goes to their heads and few people have the 'damn the career, I'm telling them as it is' bravado to nail them on live c-span, showing them how genuinely stupid and full of it so many of them are.
