Just a couple of notes-I'm sure this is do to publishing lead time.
-The handheld base for the lights shipped a couple of months ago, at least I got mine. They even came with some 550 cord (nice thought). I haven't used mine much as I leave the light on my carbine, but it's serious sized light. I wouldn't wanna get clocked in the noggin with it.
-I also had some problems with the light accidently going off with the older tail cap model, mainly when chambering a round. It would only do it when the switch was screwed in "just so." I was able to do it a number of times once, but was unable to get the switch in the right position to do it again when I tried later having screwed the switch in and out. With the new clickable tail cap I have not been able to get the light to turn on again accidently, so it's something of a moot point.
-I've had mine since maybe March? It's been to several classes, many thousands of rounds and been thumped around a little bit here and there. Not much of a test, but it's held up fine.
