hey i got a quick question...
what if a player does not recieve any bids, then everyone else has all there players, can i go back and pick up an unbidded player... I ask only cause i only have 2 bucks left, so what if i skip a player hoping to get one after him, but then someone else takes the one after the no bid that i was hoping to get, and everyone else has all 3 players but i still need, can i go back and pick up player that had no bids? does that make sence? |

No. He goes to the 4th round. Good work, BTW. ha...r u being sarcastic? I just figured there are 2 ways to play the auction, one is to just take perterson right off the bat...hell look at player 36-50 on the list, lots of good names there. also last year my slow internet screwed me, so i figure bid 48 and dont leave it to chance :) |

Read the auction rules in the league thread. Players that receive no bid will fall into the snake draft next weekend. |

Quoted: Winning bids should be all about a set pace and winner is the guy with the highest bid by the time "Gone" is announced. Opening bids back up AFTER "Gone" is announced just ain't right. if somebody gets a bid in before "going twice" and "gone" that bid should count. bids after "gone" are invalid |

You edited your post to reflect a bid AFTER you closed the bidding on him. This isn't right. |

Since the bid came in before the gone was posted, per the rules, it has to go back to "going once, going twice" before the auction can be closed. |

It was discussed YEARS ago. We hashed it out during our 1st, painful draft. |

Quoted: You guys aren't understanding this. Mav posted $23. After that post, Tom posted "Gone," closing the bidding on him. Then, Tom went back and EDITED that post, removing the word "Gone," and adding a $24 bid in its place. Mav won that bid. Sorry about the edit, but the auction rules were pretty clear and Mav doesn't have a problem. No more edits is a great idea. |

I can understand you not liking the edit of the post but the end result was fair. It was done exactly how the rules said it would be handled on page 1 of the FF post. |

Based upon the rules that have been posted, it could not have ended on that "gone" since every time a new bid is made, bidding has to go with "going once, going twice, gone" before the auction can be closed. THIS...i understand the edit was a mistake, but the rules were never broken. |

I can't believe I got Barber for $3. Something I don't know about? It's the time share I am worried about. Dallas has 3 very good backs. Still he was a STEAL at 3.00 Barber is still the #1 guy and probably the goal-line back, so I'm happy to have him. Unbelievable that I got him for $3. |

DON'T FORGET TO SET YOUR ROSTERS!!! IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, ASK!!! what do you mean? as in the guys we just won at auction? we have to maunally put them on our roster? or are you talking for the regular season, make sure we set our rosters? Log into Yahoo, go to our league page. Click Draft Central, then "Pre-draft rankings". Rank the three players you won in the first three slots. That way if you for some reason can't make it to the online draft next week the computer will automatically pick your players for you. |

If I may add....also remove everyone else's players that were drafted from your list so there are no screwups that way either. |
