| Is Lovie Smith for real or is this a fiction nightmare. Are the Bears going to look for any quarterbacks? |
| I like Orton better than Rexy, but that's like picking your favorite Menendez brother. I hear Hanie from CSU is looking pretty good, but he's playing against 3rd stringers. I'm worried about the Oline. 1st rounder Williams out for 3 months with bad back which apparently everyone but Angelo knew about. Could be another long year. Are you a Chicago boy? |
Well, Vinny Testaverde isn't working anywhere right now. ![]() Face it, the Bears are completely fooked at QB. Why they didn't draft three QBs is beyond me. Leftwich was sitting around playing Madden when the Steelers called after Batch got hurt. Neither Grossman nor Orton will ever be the right answer. Lovie's going to end up unemployed over this nonsense. |

The BEARS haven't had a QB since Sid Luckman. They are 0-2 so far and the offense looks worse than ever. Smoooooooth jazz Loveeeeeeee is clueless and just stands on the sidelines with that deer in the headlights look. If they manage 7-8 I will be surprised. 5-11 or 6-10 is more realistic. The team needs new blood from ownership on down. |
It's so hard to watch. I really do like Lovie, but we need a QB. A real QB. |
Or maybe Dave Krieg, hell lets give Moses Moreno another shot, maybe he didn't see enough experience. Of course we could always call Chris Chandler again. Or Steve Walsh, Steve Stenstrom, Shane Matthews, Cade Mcknown, Jim Miller, Erik Kramer, Henry Burris, Kordell Stewert, Chad Hutchinson, Will Furer, and of course Peter Tom Willis. |
The McCaskeys, their management and coaches = FAIL !! The only hope for this franchise is for it to be sold to a FAN of the team, not some joker who sees it only as a business. The reason the don't change is because they don't have to !! The problem is that, win or lose, there's a 10,000 person season ticket waiting list, the stands are always packed, their gear and merchandise sells like hotcakes even though they put a mediocre to shitty team on the field year after year. Ultimately, we, the fans are responsible for the way the team is run. If we refused to show up, stopped supporting their losing efforts financially, they would HAVE to make positive changes. As it is, win or lose, the McCaskets rake in the cash. So why would they bother to change. Hopefully when Virginia dies the greedy trust fund kids will sell the team for cash and the BEARS can finally start moving forward. |
