Its also about bull shit "diversity" and "flash and flare". Kenseth is and old white guy who is mostly a quiet short spoken hard ass.
While he is a GREAT guy and one of us. That's not what "they" want. NASCAR is all about Bubba Wallace and Daniel Suarez and the new upcoming ladies like Haley Deegan etc. Expect more of the same. Like I said, hopefully one day the gloves will come back off and we will gain viewership and old sponsors back to the sport. Until then we continue to go the path of the NFL. YMMV but I've been around this sport since before I could walk... Like it or not but its going to continue in this path until we either push back real hard or get new leadership. |
