I am currently working on setting up a new website for our state gun-rights group.

I am the most tech savvy member of the group but I don't have too much web programming experience.

Anyway, I am looking at using a web based content management system so that we can all collaborate and add content.

I'm just looking for some tips and suggestions for what to use and how to set it up.

Thanks!

Check out Drupal. I'm currently in the process of trying to migrate a Frontpage site to it. I've been happy so far.

That is one of the options that I was looking into but it seems like it might be a little

too much for some of the other (less technically savvy) people working with me on site design.

Good old Wordpress is free - you can add as many people as you want as contributors or authors, it's easy to set up, has literally 1000's of plugins.

And, it can be made to look like a static webpage rather than a "blog" too.
