EDITED - Amazingly it gave me the option for Normal Start up (Right after I typed all this into ARFCOM)
Hey Digital Gods of ARFCOM, I tried to make some changes to my MSCONFIG and seemed to have mucked it up. When I start my system (HP notebook running XP Professional) I get a system configuration message SYSTEM CONFIGURATION UTILITY You have used the system configuration Utility to make changes to the way Windows starts. The System Configuration Utility is currently in Diagnostic or Selective Startup mode, causing the message to be displayed and the utility to run every time Windows starts. Choose the Normal Startup mode on the General tab to start Windonws normally and undo the changes you made using the system Configuration Utiltiy. (Check Box) Don't show this message or lauce the system configuration Utility when Windows start. (BUTTON 'OK') Unquote When I first went to start the notebook after running MSCONFIG, the mouse / slide pad would not work. I powered off the notebook via the power switch. And now every time I go to start the computer, it flashes up this warning. I can't find anything related to "Normal Startup Mode" on the General Tab (I'm assuming the general tab in SYSTEM from Control Panel?). Any help in how to undo the changes and reset my computer I'd greatly appreciate! BIGGER_HAMMER
