Does anyone use scribus software?

I am looking for some software to help me produce a newsletter for a club I am in but don't want to pay for a publishing program for one small newsletter.  I saw that scribus is a free program but how useful is it?

I'm using Microsoft word to make the newsletter for our shooting club.

For the mailing labels I'm using the Avery Label plug-in for MS Word.

If you want a freebie use Open Office Writer.

I had seen Open Office and thougt about that too.  I'll have to investigate that a little more.

You could also look at google docs.  But I would probably use Open Office, its one of the greatest free programs out there.  

I have never used scribus.
