| Any here? Experiences? I just set up the SDK, looking forward to the VZW Droid release |
The ballistic calculator and mil-dot range calculator in the market are mine. I write simple stuff. I need to work on the more complicated stuff, life keeps getting in the way. It's a good SDK. It's still in beta, in my opinion, but it's a hell of a lot better than coding for Blackberry or straight Java ME. Mark Murphy's "The Busy Coder's Guide to *Advanced* Android Development" is probably the best book I've found for it –– it's an e-book, you can buy a subscription at his website that lets you get all his updates for a year for all his books for about 30 bucks, IIRC. |

how is it shaping up? I just saw an ad for it tonight- first I've heard but I'm tired of my palm and Verizon is NEVER getting an iphone from the looks of it..... The specs look very good. The BoyGeniusReport did a review, it looks impressive, as does the upcoming release of Android 2.0 –– the Droid is going to be the first phone released with it. |
