[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Firefox tweaking

I've tried this guide out on several different firefox installations on both a Windows machine and a Linux machine. There is a noticeable increase in speed, probably due to downloading several more items simultaneously than a vanilla configuration.

I don't know if this would work well on older machines that don't have a lot of RAM, and if you're on 56K it would probably slow down browsing even more.

I just tried it, seems to speed it up quite a bit. Could just be me imagining it though. Either way, try it and if it doesn't work. You can always go back.

I've done a few of these in the past and they really work.
