My current is a NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX which is about 3 years old, I need one with good graphics and I like to play games once in awhile. I prefer to spend less than $250. I currently have a Dell 24" monitor running 1920 x1200 DVI-D ETA: I found these, what do you think? You should post your other specs, like cpu, ram, and psu.  To make sure your current rig won't bottle neck your new card. 
toms Hardware is also a great resource, every month they report on the best gpu's for the money. edit: from reading the specs the 275 just has a slightly higher core and memory clock. But you could easily achieve that through over clocking, so I would go with the 260. It'lll be a huge upgrade over your old card. enjoy

If the gradients aren't caused by dithering on your monitor then it should improve. Otherwise crank it up to 16x ansiotropic filtering and 4-8x anti-aliasing if you didn't have it already turned on. on the anti-aliasing it gives me the option of 16 and 16Q??? what's the Q? |
