I've tried everything....installing from disk (actually, from THREE different fucking copies), from download, saving to local drive, then installing, removing .NET, re-installing .NET 2.0.
I've turned off all spyware and virun protection. I've updated drivers. I swore at Raj in Bangalore for 50 minutes. None of this has helped. About 1/3rd of the way through the install, I get an ERROR 1304 message. You cannot work around it. The intuit.quickbooks.fcs.exe file is the culprit. I'm running Windows XP on an HP media center PC. I've googled the shit out of it and keep coming up empty. I'm beginning to thing the software is just FUBAR'd. Any ideas???? Help. Nevermind...I got a refund. Warning to others: 2009 QB Pro is garbage. Buy Peachtree. |
