I'm not exactly on top of all this computer stuff.....
I had an older Linksys B router that a friend of mine hooked up this weekend and now I'm wireless to the internet via a laptop.  Works great.
I have a desktop computer that I want to put in my kid's bedroom and run it wireless to the internet also.  I understand that this would be economical to do.
What exactly do I have to buy for the desktop to make this work; and be compatible with the Linksys B router?  I have a choice of using either a Dell Dimension 8200 or 2400 computer.
Thanks for your help in advance.

any 802.11b or g card will work as they are backwards compatible

you can use a pci card OR usb wireless card, it just depends on your level of skill.   the pci card will need to be physically installed in the machine.  the usb you run the cd first then plug it in an available usb port
